ROCK CLIMBING ADVENTURES IN SUESCA
DAY 1
Climb and Hike
We will visit the rocky cliffs of Suesca, Cundinamarca, one hour away from Bogotá. This is considered a sacred place by the Muiscas, and in the edge of these rocks, indigenous profiles can easily be identified. The ancestors would considered them as the great guardians of this place. It is also said that the cave that are formed within these cliffs where used to incarcerate indians. Now days Suesca is considered “the schools of the colombian climbers” and it is a place you can go to practice extreme sports. We will do a silent hike through its forest and handing bridges so we can go hike and do abseiling (rápel) at the cliffs.

RECOMMENDATIONS
This will be an easy hike and a minimal difficulty climb, but it is important to be in good physical condition. The average hight is of 2600 above sea level. The level of difficulty is moderate and the activity lasts about 5hrs. Wear appropriate clothing for walking and climbing.
