MAVECURE

WHERE THE PRINCESS INÍRIDA TAKES CARE OF THE JUNGLE"

On the great jungle plain of the department of Inírida stand out three Tepuyes in granite rock, who impose themselves in the splendor of the immensity of the Colombian jungle; they are the hills of Mavecure: the Mono, the Pajarito and the Mavecure. To reach them, we will navigate through the jungle on the Inírida River. Reaching their summits is to feel closer to the sky, it is the view of immensity. On this trip we interact with indigenous communities of the Puinabes and Curripacos families, where we spend a few nights sharing and learning about their traditions. Nearby is the fluvial star of Colombia, where the Orinoco, Atabapo, Inírida and Guaviare rivers meet.
