Utría National Park

Nuquí and Bahia Solano


We invite you to enjoy our majestic Utría National Natural Park. There are 54,300 hectares of scenic beauty and diverse ecosystems in excellent condition. It has 7 of the 10 mangrove species in Colombia and one of the most extensive coral reefs. In this paradise there is great biodiversity: sharks, sierras, wahoo, rays, tuna, snapper, mackerel, and in some seasons migrations of needle fish, turtles and humpback whales. The park is inhabited by Embera indigenous people and afro communities. Ecotourism activities are performed in the Jaibaná Visitor Center, attended by community members. The park shuttle cost is included if traveling from four people on, but if the group is less you have to pay an excess of $ 107,500 per person each way. This money is paid in Nuquí when boarding the boat that will take you to Utría Protected Area.
